The Freedom Writers

In Freedom Writers Hilary Swank uses neediness to fine effect in a film with a strong emotional tug and smartly laid foundation.

A true story about a teacher, how her honest efforts changes the lives of students who are on the road of self destruction.

Hillary swank plays Erin Gruwell an educated, pretty, well-dressed smart teacher who arrives to teach Freshmen English. Unknown about her class and the students she has been assigned. The movie also opens up the failure of integration program Us had begun to reduce the difference between races in america, as the core people who run the system were never adamant to remove racism.

Erin, unaware of what she had to deal with, excited but doesn't hit right with the tough kids, and to make matters worse - she doesn't jell in with the faculty too.

On her journey to break into their hearts and make them realise their potential, erin starst to realise the pain they go through daily and starts to unwind their hearts by asking them to pin down their lives onto a notebook. which she reads and realises further to approach the kids with a new way to make them realise that dying for their own people woudn't make them popular and known.

The movie cuts through, pulls the viewer into the sorrows and griefs of the kids.

Being a true story, it has the potential to bring out tears out of even from the coldest person....

A must watch....

Yes, The freedom writers do exist...

Lets do something to bring the change...

88 Minutes - TICK TOCK TICK TOCK...

Add a bit flamboyancy to the insomnia Detective Will Dormer and you've got JACK GRAMM(AL Pacino). Jack Gramm, a successful forensic psychiatrist and a college professor. Successful for his insights into crime scenes and recreating a crime in his mind and solving it, which leads to the condemnation of the serial killer Jon Forster (Neal McDonough), influencing the jury to sentence him to the death row.
The cast consists of AL Pacino and some real stunning women all having their own flair in the movie and in Jack's life.

Movies starts with Jack Gramm at a party for the conviction of Jon Forester, wakes up next day in a, stunning she is, woman's apartment. Phone rings and it's about a murder similar to what forester's convicted for. As it is Forester has accused Jack for conspiracy and manipulation of the case stating he's innocent, with the murders everyone who used to believe in jacks work start to question him about Jon's innocence.

It seems like a devils plot of twisting things to as twisted it can get. So Jack's got a past which haunts him now and then, the plot tenses up further with series of events which makes him suspect every single person around him. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK - Jack has only 88 Minutes to get to the killer or the killer gets him. Jack starts to observe every single move around him and making the viewer observe it too and forces one to think what next? TICK TOCK TICK TOCK…

AL Pacino with his all time strong dialogue delivery, has some real good ones in this flick too.

"When do Justice and Truth intersect ?"
"Time does not heal the wound. It will though, in its most merciful way, blunt the edge ever so slightly".
